Jim is primarily involved with business development for Lovsted Worthington. He graduated with a Bachelors degree from Central Washington University in 1973 and a Masters degree from Washington State University in 1976. After graduating, he began his insurance career as an underwriter and marketing representative for a large national insurance company. He has over 30 years insurance experience as an underwriter, marketer and broker. Jim began his career with Lovsted Worthington in April 2000 .

During his career Jim has been actively involved with insurance industry professional organizations, including serving as President of the Board for the Pierce County chapter of the Independent Agents and Brokers of Washington in 1987.

Sue is Director of Personal Insurance at Lovsted-Worthington. With over 30 years of insurance expertise primarily in the Personal Insurance arena, she joined our team in February of 2009. Prior to joining Lovsted Worthington, Sue was a partner with one of the largest recognized regional brokerage firms in the Pacific Northwest. Utilizing her background from company underwriter to Director of Personal Insurance at Lovsted-Worthington, she has been recognized as one of the leaders in the Personal Lines field serving on various insurance company councils, both Regionally and on the National level. In 2010 Sue received Safeco's Award of Excellence in Personal Lines, the highest honor given for excellence in personal insurance underwriting. She previously received the Don C. Burnam Award from the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of WA, the highest honor given by the Association She believes in strengthening relationships with clients, providing individualized and personal portfolios to fit each client's needs.

In addition to a Bachelors degree from the University of Portland, she is a Licensed Agent/Broker and achieved her Certified Insurance Counselor designation. She has served as President of the Tacoma Pierce County Insurance Women and is Past President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of WA (IIABW). She currently holds the Position of State National Director of IIABW.

Sue started her career in commercial insurance in 1990 at a National Brokerage firm working on claims and small accounts. Sue quickly moved into the larger commercial accounts - with her main focus on extensive property schedules. Sue joined Lovsted Worthington Insurance in 1995 and has been an excellent account manager. She now oversees several of our larger commercial accounts and is responsible for internal commercial procedures and quality control.
